The Sitara MCU Processor product line is looking to hire an experienced Applications Engineer with the passion and
excitement to grow, innovate, work with cross-functional teams across the world, develop hardware and device collateral,
execute the characterization until ramp, and provide post ramp application support to customers. The Sitara MCU
Processor team is focused on developing a family of MCUs that enable a wide range of Industrial and Automotive
applications.

This role is responsible for application support for Sitara MCU Processor family. Key responsibilities include:
• Design and execute EVM/SVB/Reference Design boards including technical requirements, schematic capture, PCB
design, Analog simulations and board bring-up, customer documentation, launch, maintenance, and support
• Perform customer schematic and layout reviews and create schematic review checklists
• Support internal and customer debug efforts
• Deliver and support IBIS/BSDL/Thermal models and other collateral
• Develop, maintain, and/or review customer documentation, app notes including Datasheet and Technical Reference
Manual
• Perform and/or support bench characterization and system validation of devices
• Work with systems and marketing engineers to provide support to early design in activities for new products
• Create custom reference designs targeting relevant applications to be used as customer implementation ideas
• Answer customer questions and supporting design-in activities for released products

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, or related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Solid hardware and software debugging skills
• Strong technical background, with the ability to produce high quality technical documentation

Preferred qualifications
• Experience in schematic design and PCB design with Cadence or Altium tools
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving skills and root cause analysis
• Familiarity with Power Management, Analog design
• Good understanding of lab instrumentation for debug and characterization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Strong time and project management skills that enable on-time project delivery
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
• Drive ability to drive external vendors and suppliers for results
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
